Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Network
Does anyone already know a Wi-Fi 7 network, ideally a Mesh Network with dedicated backbone signal between the router and satellites?

It seems quite limited and expensive here in New Zealand, yet still not full Wi-Fi 7? We can't get certain routers and mesh networks yet. Is it's full functionality still being capped and that's why it's not allowed to be sold here?

Hasn't Wi-Fi 7 standards already been certified and available in other countries? How does it currently compared to Wi-Fi 6?

WiFi 7 is still new on public market, even here in the EU.

A freaking quality brand for a WiFi 7 Router costs about 400 - 500 EUR, more than double than a Router for Fiber .. no one would pay for that "new" tech as long as WiFi 6E runs flawlessly..

Talking about a WiFi 7 Mesh network... would you really pay about 2000 EUR for such latest tech on these days? A router and maybe 2 - 3 Mesh stations?

A good WiFi 6E Router 6 GBit with fiber modem included for 2.5 Gbit costs about 200 EUR .. of course supports ADSL, ADSL 2+, VDSL + Vectoring Super Vectoring, FTTH, G.fast (FTTB)

Personally I would wait one more year to check WiFi 7 prices again .. and stick to 6E yet ..

Wifi 7 was officially certified barely two months ago.
Even if the manufacturers did some preliminary work, it would take them months to release devices that are fully compliant with Wifi7.

Not to mention that not only the router and access point must support it, the endpoint has to support it as well.
And there is still a lack of Wifi 6E support on that front.

I would highly suggest looking into an ecosystem like Unifi. Ubiquiti has options that aren't really much more expensive than a quality system directed at more of a home use and gives you far more control and flexibility.

I have a Dream Machine SE as my router and (2) U7 Pro (WiFi 7) access points. The access points are POE+ so its a single network cable for power and data, when WiFi 8 comes along I can swap out the access points and be back up and running in a few seconds.Very easy to setup but can be configured to the max if you want to go down that rabbit hole.

Good point, I have an older AC-AP-LR[store.ui.com] I got a few years back, all I did was disable my Archer C7 wifi before I connected it up - have not needed to upgrade since.

To be honest, I would wait a bit more years before buy a wifi 7 router or when they became popular.
