How do I connect this cable to MB?

Can anyone help me identify what this cable is (below link) and what it connect to on my motherboard? I think its I've included a picture of the cable and the documentation from my PC case. The cable has two pins. Does it connect to a 3-pin female-to-female extension cable - and then the extension is plugged into my motherboard?

That end of the cable you connect to a fan. The other end likely has a 3/4pin fan header attached to it. Connect the other end of it to to the motherboard.

Thank you - this solves it. I followed the two fan cables (built into the case) and they already connect into headers - which then connect into the front of the case (I assume for power). I think this additional header is if I want to add another fan. Thank you.

its a 2 wire fan connector
what is it connected to?

2 wire is either 12v constant dc, or if controlled by the mobo it may be variable 0-12v

2 wire fan will not be able to report rpm, or have pwm speed control

like the picture says.. case has a bult-in fan controller. is there a slider or something on tha case io? right now your mb controls the fans which is better anyway
