Yes, I run Win7, seriously. I work with W10 (inferior OS and W11 is even worse).
So again, what is the problem with other people making different choices?
Many of you seem to get a bit worked up about it. Makes me smile.

And today why not another nice tool ?
This one run under w7+ but i guess it have better result under w10+ because of hdr as i do not remember that our w7 can do hdr with it old drivers.

mpc-hc is a versatil player , capable of playing music of many formats and from many sources like icecast or shoutcast and also can play many video formats and also steam any video on the web like youtube trought yt-dlp ( https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases ).
If you like hdr, there is a codec delivered with it you can install/uninstall.

why? whats the point of acting like something so old and obviously so insecure is a so much better than something that isn't? try giving me something thats not refutable. if its so good that should be easy

I also had mpc-be, but mpc-hc have more functionalities like watching/listen to steaming videos/musics.
I do not remember be was able to do that and hdr function but as i never downloaded/watched hdr i've no real clue if it work with our old drivers under w7

That might be the case (BE ... hehee) as I rarely use a media player for streaming.

You can with mpc-hc watch yt videos as exemple and no ads under it ...just clickandrag a link on it window or open a file and past a link and enjoy.
The only thing i do not really like under mpc-hc is how 'favorites' are handled...
