As of late, Windows 7's security holds up perfectly fine even when you ring the dinner bell, but you should still never drop your guard, because it'll eventually experience similar issues with completely unprotected systems. But as long as you have reliable antivirus programs that continue support, it's fine.
Have you tryed to understand how the video have been made ?What was the pre-requested he used for it ?
Now try to do the same with your w10 and let's see how it goes xd
Good so you are safer than windows in general xd
You will have the same result more or less running w10+ with the same pre-request used in this video
What about a nice tool also
https://github.com/dpradov/keynote-nf
Very handy when you want to take notes, comments, etc ..
It will be a good addition to my old 1.51 cintanotes or the guide 2.0 https://theguide.sourceforge.net/
https://cintanotes.com/
Bonus
A nice explanation fo the steam error code
https://steamerrors.com/
And the repository of the steam tracking code
https://github.com/SteamDatabase/SteamTracking
or for something with more explanation
https://steam.readthedocs.io/en/latest/intro.html
So this video can't apply to the situation most w7+ users are nowadays. No one is directly been connected to internet without the use of an antivirus, firewall ,the routers are.
One of the pre-request of this video was to directly connect the xp machine to internet ... but it's not the situation anymore nowadays as we are mostly behind a router..
This explain why you are mainly here in a window 7 thread ,xd
Sad that post history exist with a search function

It's very easy to fully turn off all the telemetry, which is the only negative about the OS as far as I can tell.
Use firefox, malwarebytes browser guard, duckduck go browser add on, ublock origin and you have a very nice set up. No adverts, no pop ups.
ME was not very good. I used it for a time years ago.
I bought that game years ago for about £5. It's been in alpha for over a decade now. It's about time they finally decided to finish the game. The game has changed a lot over the years.
