nice find, ;)
unfortunately for my case i have nothing to read it ( no smartphone ) xd
aye you can do that with other tools, but honestly this is not something i would do , expecially from a steam profile
I just tried googling the site "dqhongyi.leaper.ltd" and I came across dozens of reports about the contained Trojan on the final link. So the rumors weren't lying.
just curious :
how many of you windows 7 users have a datastore.edb located inside this folder
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore
thx @andreasaspenberg575 , because this file is 1.5go xd
and it has been created in 2022 ... when the original datastore.edb is somewhere else with around the same weight but both files are differents ... not the same sha-1 and those in this folder does not have reccord inside past 2022 ( around 15 tables inside ...)
original place for this is
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore
aye this what i thought as there is no trace on my vm and if the os need it, it will rebuild it anyway
The Demo version I played was on Unity 2021 build.

like allways, ask them nicely to put the last working release on beta branch as it cost them nothing to do that , except a lit of their time ....
these kind of little dev studio most of the time, think it's easier to follow the trend when , in fact, it's not because using a new tool at it full potential need knowledge ... and a little dev studio does not have that sadly ...
security
becarefull a new scam is spreading on steam forum and this scam is using some ofuscated base64 strings associated to a script that will download malware under runas directly to your comp ...
as soon as a tool is build using ofuscated strings that need to be decoded, avoid it ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64
eg :
text -- the cat is hitting the dog
encoded base64 - dGhlIGNhdCBpcyBoaXR0aW5nIHRoZSBkb2c=
so be carefull till the scamer is been banned and all his post remove ...(done and i was stupid because i've fully quoted all his post ..)
anyway now both posts has been removed xd
or was that with usernames
no clue ...
So how this work? What I should not do with the scam? What the scammer write in forum message?
it's just an advertissment if you see someone asking you to use a script where you see this kind of string, avoid it ...
