This Thread is about Win7. You can free talk anything about that OS.

seems like BeamNG has made the move
can't say i blame em though, the game is quite good as it is after all, i'll probably try running newer updates each time they release to see if it boots at all(won't go into a actual game though)

they aren't doing a hardware block though, so if ever a workaround is found, it won't stop them from using it

as i do not have that game, i am unable to create a workaround myself. though the old version will remain and still run in older systems. it is only the next version that will not. speaking of windows 7 games: trials of mana will always work. it is not being updated. its requirements says windows 8.1 but, i tested it in windows 7 and it worked there too. no workarounds needed.

I'll be testing and reporting on the latest UpdatePack7 that was released today for Windows 7 over in my thread. Looks to be the usual fare.

- Added KB5053620-x64 with disabling telemetry and checking processors (replaces KB5052016-x64)
- Certificate update similar to KB931125 and KB2917500 for March 2025

You should include a notation that UpdatePack7 does not (and can not) update Windows 7.

but no trace about this name on the update list and also i does not provide any news when it try to download it and install it : no kb name ...
and no trace about it into mmc
i will clear it and pull update again to see if i can see something on mmc

wul does not work anymore ( it does not list windows update anymore ) ...and also driver from systeminformer ....
final note:
i finally understood what was this ♥♥♥♥ without a kb name : it was update for the dvd to comply with eu digital regulation .... reinstalling edge and making it uninstallable directly from the setting of application...too bad i did not have the reflexe to take screenshot of this i was too unhappy about this ♥♥♥♥ that i directly used winscript-portable.exe to get back to a normal situation ....not also edge but also many other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

another game with futur dlc has been updated with the version of unity engine that does not support windows 7 but the dev are kind and implemented the last working w7 under the beta
really nice game and studio, i followed them since the release of their prototype , long , long time ago when they were studend if i remember well xd

10/10 Experience with Windows 10...
Reinstall the same OS bloatware just to make it possible to uninstall them while they were not on the system in the first place.

I just refunded it. It wasnt even on my whislist. Seemed fun game, but I have enough other game to play with.

My suggestion was the minimal effort involved for the developer: Just delete old copies of the game from steam and then otherwise do nothing else, continue updating their game as normal. Almost no effort involved at all from their side.

I find it pretty incredible that you actually think you're entitled to asking all these developers to go out of their way and invest effort just to preserve their games for you just because you refuse to update your computer like the rest of the world.

If I want to comment on a public forum thread written in a public forum space I am completely free to do that. I can respond to any forum thread anywhere on the steam forums that I feel like responding to. I can also suggest anything I feel like suggesting to any developer anywhere. If you don't like people responding to something you wrote then don't write threads in a public internet forum.

For the record: I'm not stalking your history. Someone linked the game into this thread and so I clicked on it and went to it's community hub and forums then found the thread that way.
