Hello Again Fellow Community!

This Thread is about Win7. You can free talk anything about that OS.
Be technical issues you need help, the future and past of the OS, some fun story you want to share, your opinion about it, your advice, useful apps and such.

This is the place for everyone interrested or against Win7.

It seems SteamDB dont like Firefox ESR anymore.

"Unsupported browser
SteamDB may not work correctly in your browser. SteamDB uses modern features that your browser does not support."

I dont know what feature not work.

It is SteamDB not Steam, no way I use Edge.

Seriously you never heard about SteamDB?

It is an awesome site where you can search way more effectively with alot of filters and Tags/genre about games with many many extra info.
It also have extension to Firefox what show you extra info if you visit Steam store.

adgaurd? no thanks, got ublock and used to use adblocker plus (been around for a very long time, as an fyi, it was adblocker and plus (don't remember the name of the extension but it was for popups) being an extension before it was combined into adblocker plus) and have since it released, though been using ublock for a year or so now, with adblocker plus turned off.

I don't see ads unless I want too, which is why I mentioned the state of ads on the internet without blockers, but that's just on browsers, not other places like programs that sends desktop popup ads, or even Microsoft's ads/news.

anywho, I stated that way specifically to make a point.

yah but adguard blocks win10 win11 is ads. you can have a cheap os for free.

works fine in edge. i just tested it. i got a warning too but, all functions work. if you want to avoid the warning however, you need an updated operating system.

pihole is good for a old win7 box. the CPU is old and can do fast Ethernet. adguard works at the os level and if you do better IPfire adds another layer on top. filter.

everything is still working from what i've seen and the same between esr and ff136, it just test your broswer user agent for the little popup...
change it to
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:135.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/135.0 r3dfox/135.0.1
if you do not want to see it...

no clue but atm it's exactly the same under ff 136 and ff 150 sr may be in the futur it will use jpeg-xl

it can spoof both the os and the browser

found some firefox settings for ai that people may want to turn off

in about:config, look for browser.ml.chat stuff and their variants
