And yes, YouTube seems to have also made some changes here in recent days. If it happens on Steam Client too (Chromium), then the issue should not be the browser.
And if I remember corectly, your GPU was some of the GTX1000 series and they should not make any difference in hardware acceleration, because of the new AV1 codec.
Google is obsesed with transcoding videos to save space and bandwidth.
no clue as i do not really understand your issue ... i guess it happen while you're playing a yt video but in which case ? not from yt directly but from forum or other places that embedded yt video ?
Im not sure it hapen on Steam too, this is a very recent issue and I didnt paid full attention. I will monitor where it hapening. As it random it take time.
My GPU is RX 580 (4GB) with Adrenalin 22.6.1 (Last Legacy on Win7)
Windows 7 can never be updated ever again.
Windows 7 is insecure and unsafe to be used on the internet in 2025.
These are facts that can not be altered or changed. As I said above: Sharing true and factual information with others (as long as it's written in a nice, polite, and gentle tone) can never be considered a bad thing. The only people who would say that sharing this information with others is a bad thing are trying to control information and prevent others from learning it.
There are some people (I won't name names) that do not want the people using Windows 7 to hear, see, or learn this information. I'm not sure why they don't like sharing information but they don't and they will do and say anything to try and prevent me and others from sharing this with Windows 7 users.
Everyone here know the stuffs about risk and issues.
When you came back after 6 month of ban I realy naively hoped that you changed, that we can start things fresh. This is that rare case I answer to you directly as you still on my blocklist. You dont changed my mind about that.
Ofc you can stay and write stuff I have no controll over that, but I make it clear that you are not welcome here anymore. You were, you are and you will be always a troublemaker on this forum.
That can't possibly be true because people are still trying to use Windows 7. If they knew how bad it was to do that then surely they would know not to do it.
I have changed a bit. I was quite rude and a bit mean in the past to others. I have this time decided to remember to write nice, gentle, and polite words when sharing information with others now. Just to make sure nothing that I write could ever possibly be considered "mean", "rude", "harassment", "bullying", or any other such nonsense.
I don't understand why you would write a comment like that. Why would you write that when my words so far have been nothing but gentle and polite? There's no reason to write something mean like that. :(
if you add a :( face or other ones, it doesn't change a fact and would often be ignored for a reply
if this is worded a little hostile, sorry about that, but i don't see it in my own eyes, so you can't blame a person for not being able to see it in there own wording, it happens to everyone sometimes
There may be some small chance that it's a VRAM corruption, but I highly doubt it is and more likely to be a software bug because of it's specific condition.
The only new thing hapened on my side is the Firefox esr update. As i said I monitoring the situation from now on. Thanks for help
how about you try to calm down a bit and reword that to be less.. rude
he's gonna lash out on me isn't he?
