yep, win 7 ran the intel nvme driver.

runs up to 3000 series gpu's.

as for the rest, i cant be bothered to list them.

that said, people coming here to complain about stuff win 7 users already know, or know correct info, is essentially hating, no one who isnt hating would bother themselves, to sit in a thread for win 7, making negative comments and repeating stuff over and over.

in the end, yes we/they use win 7 and we/they will keep using despite anyones dislike of it.

Ok first off who knows or cares what made him think Win7 was "shut down" what ever that means.

No, really. One dead ass easy way to point out a mindless cult is the amount of ad homs and appeal to authority fallacies they throw around.

Someone using or not using a platform does not magically alter the entire world and change whether something is true or not.

Win7 not being "shut down" (whatever that means) is not impacted by their OS of choice.


Second, supporting Win7 would be a waste of time as you'd have to test against another OS and try to work around issues that will never be fixed as theres no entity to submit bug reports to.

It would also require either limiting your platform to what Win7 can do or have features only available to newer versions which would make people unreasonably mad and lash out acting like they were cheated (you can't say that wouldn't happen because it also has.

Win7 user didn't want to acknowledge that YUZU couldn't move forward with improvements that were made and keep Win7 supported as Win7 DO NOT support the needed features so he freaked out and attacked YUZU.

And one other note, I don't think anybody whose part of an OS cult is in any position to accuse anybody of being immature unless they are prepared to have that irony thrown right back in their faces.

i would rather hear an explaintion of why people feel the need to chime in on win 7 users, when it doesnt effect them.

also as an fyi and has been said about a hundred times, no one here is asking for support, matter of fact supporting win 7 really doesnt matter, it still runs and functions, including a majority of the games.

that said, for me at least... ill run w/e OS i want, be it DOS N UP and no one has a say in the matter.

edit: and yes its immature to hassle people over their OS of choice, no irony to be had, when it comes to whether you think people should be using something, or not.

I realy hope we get an App/Tool what can spot AI content. Something what can check any video or picture about anomalies what an average user eye can not see or find.
Because it evolving and soon will be almost impossible to spot them without help.

That's why personally, I hope they program AI so it cannot use real people EVER

Sure, bad actors will just use their own AI ♥♥♥♥ to get around that. But, it should at least limit the problem.

theoretically: people might be able to use A.I in order to create deep fakes. it depends on what restrictions the picture generator have.

lacking support for modern GPUs

lacking support for modern APIs (be it graphics or other)

lacking support for modern CPUs

lacking in modern OS features

lacking support for security patches needed to close well known CVEs and general attack vectors

lacking support for modern file systems (Win10 and 11 also have this issue though)

lacking support for virtual desktop (win10 and 11 arguably barely support this feature anyways)

lacking support for multithreaded file operations (still an issue with Win10/11)

etc etc and thats just to name a few issues.

Windows 7 works flawlessly, my system is modern enough, most 10/11 'modern features' are unnecessary, spy- and bloatware, etc.
Don't be angry others prefer superior OS's, it's immature.
