supernium is unsupported by rikstv. already tried it. anything firefox based is unsupported and will not even be able to access the service. i get an error message saying that fire fox and chrome is not supported. kmeleon also does not work with rikstv. i have not tried floorp so, i will try it an report back.

But what a crap service is RIKSTV what not work on Chrome and Firefox the most popular browsers? Or it is not work on ESR 115 version?

I read somewhere it use some encrypting method.

"RiksTV is the distributor of pay television in the Norwegian digital terrestrial television network.

Except for NRK1, NRK2, NRK3/NRK Super and the NRK radio channels, all broadcasts in the Norwegian DTT network are encrypted. The channels that are broadcast in the RiksTV packages are selected by RiksTV themselves. "

rikstv requires an updated browser. the message i get is that it is unsupported. rikstv works with edge but, no longer with the version i am using. it works with opera but again, not the version compatible with windows 7. it used to work with vivaldi, until they stopped updating it for windows 7, 8.1 and 10. official requirements is windows 11. some of your information is wrong. the favorites pack enables the user to select a certain amount of channels which can be changed at will.

so use supernium or thorium but anyway without the correct error message it will be hard to really help ...

edge is chrome so it shouldn't work but from what you said it works ..; post a screenshot , so it will be better and easier to diagnose than talking into the void ...

you would not be able to understand it, due to it being in norwegian. edge is not chrome directly. it have enough changes for rikstv to not think of it as chrome. though all modern browsers is based on google`s code. google have monopoly. any other browsers i could try?

The info from wiki, so it either not updated or we just misunderstood it message.

edge is nothing more than a fork of chrome, it's chrome nothing else xd

that is not how rikstv see it. they support edge but not chrome. the support opera but not chrome. they do not support supernium, because it is too chrome for them. they support vivaldi but, that requires windows 11. on the other end of the scale they do not support anything that uses google analytics, whiich blocks pale moon. it would otherwise have worked. i do not however know why they are like that.
