Still he and others come here for no other reasons just arguing.
Ironic, isnt it?
Glad I blocked him and only see his comment when some of you quote.
7 may be unsupported but it's still arguably better than 11 and rendered 8 obsolete on release
Update: Maybe I used bad word with entitled.
Rather common sentiment, given the age of the OS and the fact that ESU was dropped four and a half years ago for all relevant versions that are usable on home machines. From the outside in, it looks like it has a cult following and annoys them even though they aren't forced to look anywhere near it or participate. But I think in Shaggin's case it just irks him when people don't do exactly as he says and listen to every opinion he has as if it's the gospel of Christ.
It's not all that different from previous editions being killed off, it's just more pronounced with the internet being more connected and highly vocal nowadays, there's still a lot of people using 98, XP, etc. machines for recreation and there was never REALLY a reason to kill off all support aside from just corporations not wanting to spend money continuing support for something that wasn't going to support the software and games of tomorrow.
For some it just annoys them that users of unsupported operating systems are so vocal and all over the internet, they would rather them be silent because they don't want to see any of it. Not like it matters, one of these days some of those people will be in the same shoes whining about Windows 10 or 11 being killed when later versions of Windows are even worse.
Well we are more loud as Win7 users are more attacked than those even more old OS users.
"Man walks through the street and sees a sign 'Guitar lessons.'
He steps in and starts shouting angrily" No! No! I don't want guitar lessons!"
Back to the thread .-)
As I said I lost the link a couple of years back, I had it in 2022, I think it was "DX-12 on Win 7" but I do not remember which site I got it from. Sorry about the wrong link.
