I know unfortunately and it's sad.
Not sur i ever posted the following link, it's like a rss news feed where you can comment and mostly about subjects around computers.
https://news.ycombinator.com/
This is where i've found the link about machine learning and trackmania and some other links i've posted.
hehe, he's allready been blocked for a long time on my side xd
Mick Gordon's tunes are full of white and pink noise anyway. ;-)
yes but flac is a codec and like any other coded it has evolved a lot since the day of winamp xd
https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/flac/-/commits/master
https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/flac/-/releases
And unless you can update it under any old winamp release ( and i do not think you can ) , you can meet some artifacts while playing some new flac file.
https://winampheritage.com/plugin/flac-plugin-with-library-support/143614 ( and i do not talk about winamp 3x serie )
Or may be are you using a codec pack like K-Lite for w10+
I still have winamp 3x somewhere in my hdd but i rarely use it and really prefer using xmplayer and mostly listen to some icecast or shootcast radio or even use mpc-hc for that.
https://directory.shoutcast.com/
Mpc-hc is more like a swiss kniff, as i also use it to lsten to some youtub/invidious song.
Talking about mpc-hc, i know @master construction can watch some yt video under mpb-be ( a little brother of mpc-hc ) but what ever i've tryed , i was not able to do it xd

All that for windows but i wonder what our linux friends are using ...
May be audacious or amorok

Update: Oh I thought on Steam. There is only 0,4%
