i always thought it was using the current branch and not the esr branch, this prove i was wrong and it's always better to verify by yourself xd
But it does not work very well if you try to change your default proxy location : tryed bruxel or franckfurt and coutldn't connect to anything as i guess it's something not free and i do not use vpn xd
performances , memory footprint are really similar

it use noscript also, well, imo there is no need as there is also ublock origine
And it call too much home for my taste xd (*. mullvad.net ) even while not using it proxy feature

Nonetheless, one point i really like is it portability as the profile is saved locally on the browser folder and not on roaming.
Talking about windows here is another web site to check during update day of windows
https://patchapalooza.com/
one interresting feature is about
Threat Categories
and
Affected Products
and also that you can click on ! (info) on each cve line with a short explanation on how it can be executed
i guess it's time for a good night now , cya
Keep in mind this is what we will see in a near future when steam will decide to jump forward on the cef version...
I am not sur many are really ready for just having a game launcher that will use around 2go memory just at launch because it use last cef releae ...
https://i.postimg.cc/hjsV9zrw/1Capture.jpg
Even with the jump from cef 85 to cef 109 , memory footprint growed from 400mo ...
https://i.postimg.cc/765TTs5C/5Capture.jpg
steam cef 85 vs steam cef 109
https://i.postimg.cc/TP4KGVtT/15-Capture.jpg
and this is the kind of result that you expect when steam will move forward on cef
https://postimg.cc/ph99vd3Y
And finally the big test
https://i.postimg.cc/Sx5XbLTk/15-Capture.jpg
steam from april 2023(cef 85) vs steam from jun 2024 ( cef 109 ) vs gog galaxy beta april 2024 ( cef 74 ) vs epic game from jun(cef 90)vs brave cef 123

Aye it's always better to use a recompiled version rather than an hacked release like i did for brave
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/4349988612573450321/?ctp=11#c4361249719402246678
for thorium no need as a native w7 release allready exist since a long time time ago but brave like most other chromium browser allready stopped to support w7
Mercury has no performance increases. https://www.phoronix.com/review/mercury-firefox-perf
(he also rips into Opera by the way)
Thx for the link @Crashed.
Money does not grow on trees xd
ps : interresting web site

This seems to be the case on this PC. I just ran a quick set of tests on Mercury 115.11.0es and Firefox 115.12.0esr.
The following benchmarks were all pretty close between them with no clear winner:

Can you tell me what these updates do? I ask because, for example, the last five Windows Quality Rollups replace packages that have already been patched with (the latest) old patches. Service stack updates are not interesting, they have nothing to do with the OS. :/
probably KB5035??? or something
