Should i try playing games again or too risky?
I dont know anything about pcs at all.
But last month on the 7th my power supply died out. Took weeks before i took it to repair shop and let them replace it and all that.
So i got the pc back and all but it seems the supply is weak or something cuz this old thing keeps shutting down.
So i gotta hit the back button a couple of times before it starts again.

When i got the pc back i started up my game where i already had over 90 hours, after 30 minutes to playing it shut down the whole pc.
Switched to another game, worked fine for 10 hours then shut down in a cutscene.
Then just started up steam and it shut down...
Opened youtube video, shut down.

But now in last 2 days,it didnt shut down on youtube or steam and hell i can even play a pixelated game now without problem...luckily i guess?

So heres my biggest issue
Im hard waiting for a game to be released since end of january, it only said coming in 2024 so it can come out today, tomorrow or in 2 months.
I need my pc for that badly but i doubt i can survive another month without playing games here.
Im so bored outta my mind but maybe just maybe the crashes stopped?
So the question is
Do i risk playing some games even if i might crash or do i keep waiting for the game which who knows will come out?

Ps getting new pc is out of the question, i got no money nor do i work yet.

probably both.
I was checking the cpu thing as my friend told me to
when playing the games its below 50%
but sometimes it rises to 90% when i open up steam or something but quickly drops down afterwards in like a second.
Weird

Monitor your temps to see if they are getting to hot. If too hot they'll throttle

HWMonitor is free. It shows Current, Min and Max

Is there a way to prevent that?
I dont even have anything opened besides the game, and they arent even like high graphics to take up all my ram

PC problems often require narrowing a problem down. Do you have any idea what the temps are? No, least you haven't said so.

If your system is dusty, lacks airflow, fans slow/dead temps go up and if to high they'll throttle. Check the temps and then you can rule that out and move on to the next thing.

A good repair shop would have told you that the power supply was not good enough, or would have "hinted" other problems. I know there are individuals in certain shops that would rather see you come back another ten times, and let you pay for that as well, that aside, they often prey on people with little to no knowledge of PC's.
So, I do not want to be rude or something, but you should really start learning things about your PC, because some things are really easy to solve yourself with a bit of knowledge.

I had a guy look at pc before, he said supply went out but there was a chance mothersboard went out too

so i told the repair shop the problem was supply and to just replace that and not mothersboard if it went out cuz i literally got no money at all.

So they just replaced that cuz that was the only problem at the end.
64 euros for power supply, 37 euros for an hour they worked on it

and im way too lazy to learn,id rather have them handle it.

I just know how to press turn on and open steam to play games

(ironic i have no knowledge given i finished a school that was only on pc stuff lol)

If you use your PC a lot like 10 hours a day then yeah you're going to burn through power supplies.

The best you can do is buy a quality one with Japanese capacitors built to last.

The only thing that changed is different graphics card last year in may because i wanted to play red dead redemption 2 and cyberpunk 2077.

Spend more time applying for jobs then and you can pay your mom's dues and get the parts you need for your PC or even build a new one.

Btw is is possible a game fried my pc?
Because right before supply died
My friend got me that game hunt showdown

and that game dosent have graphics limit like other games do
so i may have set everything on medium but game still looked bad with textures not loading right away.
Maybe that game pushed my supply thing to its limit later on?
Is that possible?
Tho pc died few hours later in a different game
