Disable Full Screen Optimization for game exe.
Borderless Window Mode is often better, as it allows seemless/delay-less transitions to OS Apps/Windows when using ALT+TAB or WINKEY+TAB
Some games, when ran in any kind of Full Screen mode, can't remain as an active window when you ALT+TAB out of it. With some games, this method of switching can sometimes cause the game to crash.
Good news is that It actually won't! In the last versions of win10/11, the flip model presentation is enforced for all DirectX 10+ games. This ensures that G-SYNC functions flawlessly in almost all games, whether in borderless or fullscreen modes, when the "fullscreen only" mode is chosen in nvidia gsync settings
Full Screen is great, as long as you have no needs to ALT+TAB out frequently.
Again, the ALT+TAB in/out frequently can easily cause some games to just up and crash at random, especially if they use DX12.
This should just be common sense when using a WinOS PC for Gaming; that "most" defaults in the NVIDIA Control Panel, you are going to want to change.
