Ryzen 7800X3D freezes games on windows 11

Ryzen 7800x3d freezes me games on windows 11. Freezes are for 3-4 seconds and will appear several times per game which annoys me a lot. After the change to 10 everything works as it should, but I would like to use 11 because 10 loses support soon. Has anyone had the same and knows what the problem is?

When you went to 11 did you do a full driver update or let windows figure it out? If not that may be your problem.

Posting your system specs will help people help you, its beneficial to know what machine config we are talking about.

I've installed drivers manually not through the windows update.

Here are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
Arctic Liquid Freezer 360
32GB RAM DDR5 6000Mhz CL30
MSI RTX 3080 TI SuprimX 12G
SSD Nvme MSI Spatium M480HS 1TB
PSU MSI MAG A1000G 1kW

Windows 10 loses support from Microsoft in 2025 but the OS itself will still be supported for awhile longer, it took four entire years for 7 to lose support entirely after MS dropped extended support. I would just keep using 10 if it doesn't have any issues.

Make sure Windows' Game Mode is off, its garbage.

you also installed the chipset drivers on your motherboard page? also check your bios version and then check if the newer ones have fixes for your problem

we are just in the day of age were bios updates are more common to do then before

Previously i had beta version of BIOS driver now i installed non beta one. Do you think that may be it?

do a fresh install of win 11,updating from 10 to 11 isnt always friendly.

It was clean install not update though windows update

Any luck? Ive just upgraded from 7600x to 7800x3d and experiencing the same issue. Was not apparent on the 7600x but now getting what u describe - 3 or so second stalls in game i think its crashed then it comes good..

i think its connected with that 3d cache somehow, well now its not that frequent it appears only sometimes when i begin the game. Try also update bios
