Cleared my C disc,had steam on D,dont know how to move games

Hello,i cleared my C disck,before i had steam on D,and i have all the games still there,but I dont know how can I move those games on C steam,tried to copy game on steamapps on C but steam still dont see the game,any ideas?

steam recognize games by their appmanifestXXX.acf file in steamapps folder ON STARTUP.

you can also just click on install (after you copied them to c ) for a game and it will scan+recover the files

I dont get,I copied one game from D to my C steam,and it still wanted to install new game,could U try to tell me step by step how can i do this? or anyone

can u not just add the steam library on d? then you can move games with steam

Close Steam
Lets say your old Library is here D:\Steam\steamapps
Rename the D:\Steam\steamapps folder to D:\Steam\steamapps_old
Open Steam
Create Library where you want it D:\Steam\steamapps
Close Steam

Cut (Ctrl +X), Not copy, CUT(Ctrl +X) the contents of the D:\Steam\steamapps_old folder and paste (Ctrl +V) inside the new D:\Steam\steamappsfolder
Delete the D:\Steam\steamapps_old folder
Load Steam

Issue with steam is you can not play d games in steamaps, if you install steam on the d drive,it's some type of flaw with steam it defaults to steam install directly and will not allow the root to be edited or for games to be added in any other folder on the root drive

You can easily edit where Steam is installed and where all of your Steam Games are installed/located; it can't be any easier. It's the easiest game client ever in terms of doing this.
