it's a pretty decent phone with a great 6.3 inch 1440p IPS screen
quad 48mp sony camera (also has a macro and ultra wide lens)
uses a dual CPU configuration (Cortex-A75@2.2ghz and Cortex-A55@2.0ghz)
8gb of ram and 128gb of storage built in
dual sim, thermometer sensor and a headphone jack.
rather decent for the 200$ CAD it sold at in 2020
does all it needs to forsure and even isn't terrible for some games like cod mobile
but i wouldn't consider it a gaming phone.

Umidigi seem to make some really good value phones
with basically stock android
A little disappointed due to a few bugs, but after a few tweaks it got better. It was freezing a lot and you have to close and open the phone again, but it seems that lack of RAM is the cause of the problem, so changing the launcher and the keyboard with lighter ones kinda fixed it.
Funny, it has an FM radio, but no app for it xD
had before an Nokia 8
and before than still used an old nokia dumbphone.
I kind of liked how barebone the OS was on the nokia 8.. ZERO preinstalled apps.. no google store.., no google maps or nothing.
this LG has like 15 apps preinstalled.. almost all google apps.. that I all disabled but cannot uninstall..
sadly nokia has stopped making good phones after the 8.
and LG has stopped making phones together
and I NOT want any brand that is made in china AT ALL.
that means there is no good midrange phone thats all steel case.. no bloody plastic.. with the latest snapdragon cpu.. with fysical headphone plug and fysical slot for your sim and a second sim or memory card.. and 128GB or re strorage by default.
I also prefered the fysical buttons of the nokia 8 over the digital buttons of the LG G8s
new phones all feel like bloatware infectred junk.
to get something thats even remotely like I have now I have to get like a samsung of 1100 instead of a midrange phone of 400-500 euro as I got.
and like said thats just hardware you most likely still get a crappy plastic background or glass I not want.. and have far from a clean android without bloadware apps.
os on phones these days feels like windows on prebuiild pc's./. only on phones you cannot uninstal that and instal a proper windows isntall instead without the bloat.
and what the hell is the obsession with camara's I never use it.. remove the camera I much rather have a cheaper phoen without camera not need it or have them alocate that money to things like a better cpu.. a steel background, fysical buttons and more memory..
there just is NO proper replacement on the market for me..
Me likely. The purists at the FSF don't endorse /e/os because it isn't 100% free software, but it's better than virtually every other nosy OEM Android crap out of the box without all the headaches of flashing pure LineageOS.

I hope Fairphone continues releasing in the US.
I was a bit disappointed to hear Apple is following the trend of scaling up phones yet again for the iPhone 16. The things are getting too damn large for my hands.
If I want a tablet I'll buy one..
