Tuna, no crust
this is not even a question...

there should never ever ever ever be ice in whiskey,

and ofcourse whiskey always needs to be either a single malt.. or a single barrel.. non of that crappy blended stuff.. and scotitsch (or made like scoitisch)
bourbon is not drinkable.. thats trash.

you do not want cold to your whiskey.. as it needs to evaporate in your hand in the proper tulip shaped glass.. for the aroma's to hit you.
but if for ANY reason you still want it chilled.. at least use whiskey stones... to not dilute your whiskey.

I don't mind a cube of ice in my Whiskey.

But as recognized somewhere else I'm a mere peasant so my foolishness is in line with my Monitor. :steamhappy:

the best glass of whiskey needs to be thick and short. Preferably recycling an old bottle, cut down to size and shape. For chilling, just place it in the freezer for 30 mins before use and after consuming 3 oz of whiskey you'll be happy that the first few sips are chilled without dirty water.

ice ball, larger surface area, more cooling adds less water
With thermal paste
