You didn't disable or lower the page file/virtual memory for Windows by chance, did you?
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
1660s is a 6g gpu not 4g
unless its a cloned or nerfed version
Most of the time, GPU memory related crashes will reference video memory.
"Out of memory..." error message, unless it is an Nvidia/driver error message, would point to a system memory issue IMO.
Are you watching your system resources while in game? Maybe the game has a memory leak which is causing you to crash?
Otherwise all your gonna get is a best guess.
Then launch CMD (Run As Admin)
Type POWERCFG -H OFF
Press Enter
Now reboot and enjoy never seeing this problem ever again.
If something crashes, you simply go here to find the problem...
Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application
Could be a 1650 Super!
To look at your true specs, use CPU-Z & GPU-Z apps.
Out of video memory = out of video card memory.
The question is how much stuff you're running and how much it all totals including Windows. Running a Stream with a game eats up RAM depending on how much stuff is in it.
And it's unlikely that Windows, when left to its own virtual memory management, is limiting it to a size that is too small to be causing that error for OP, so you shouldn't need to set a static size to a specific amount either. I say this as someone that did it myself, FWIW. That just leads to this issue down the line. People are suggesting to set it to 8 GB or 16 GB today, just like people were suggesting to disable it, or set it to 1 GB to 4 GB years ago. Agreed. When dealing with errors, it's best to be exact as to the error message. Just saying something crashed and an error message said something to the extent of "insert phrase here" can be a plethora of things.
I threw out my best guess, for starters, but it'll save everyone's time OP (your own and those helping) to be more specific.
