80C by itself isnt bad for a GPU, but staying at that temp for a number of hours each day isnt ideal.
You'd make more money quicker by just selling the card.
My suggestion is just to keep the card in a safe place.
I assume you have a better card presently for gaming.
If that one craps out, you still have the gtx 1070 as backup.
60-65c would be the max I'd run it at in part because of parts of the card getting hotter than other parts.
Might need to increase fan speed or change other settings.

I'll keep this information in mind when I build the dedicated miner I want, a twin 3080 system.
Whatever the max is allowed. As long as the GPU is stable at it.
I mean I am applying changes, but it's not effecting the wattage at all though strangely my estimated profit jumped to almost 4$ might be the 700+ memory clock I am stable with.
