Is 80c ok on a gpu that is mining 24/7?

So I am currently making use of my old ass 1070 to generate income (although not much) while I'm working and only recently has it been spiking past the usual 66c it's regularly running at.

My current OC settings are
60+ core voltage
90% power limit
temp limit of 92
150+ core clock
650+ memory clock

Ok, perhaps slightly off topix but, given the price of second hand GPU's at the moment wouldn't it be more prudent to sell the card rather than trying to solo mine with it, I mean I do not know the value of a 1070 at the moment but I sold my old Zotac 980Ti AMP Extreme on ebay about 6 weeks ago and got £330 for it, that was about £270 after fees and postage. That's more than half of what I paid new for it almost 5 and a bit years ago.

Forgive me, I assumed "So I am currently making use of my old ass 1070" meant you were making use of your old card, having upgrade to a new one, my bad.

No you're fine, if I had a new card I would be using it too, I'm not gaming as much as I used to these days since I have a full time job.

I found the real issue, nicehash was switching algorithms to one that had a much higher TDP pull so that's why I hit 80C I have since locked it to only dagger since it doesn't pull much and isn't causing my gpu to turn into my car when I rev it.
