Need technical help Xbox one controller A button not working in game.

I'm Running Helldivers II in Steam on Linux.
The game and controller were working fine.
Then all of a sudden the A button function quit working in the game.
While the game is open I can go back to the Steam console, go to settings - controller.
My controller is listed, and when i go to test input device. The A button is working. It lights up the A button on the screen in the Steam console input test but it will not work in Helldivers II. All the other buttons work fine.
I'm not a linux pro. So I dont even know how to trouble shoot this problem.
I'm using the latest version Of Garuda Linux with the newest kerner.
Can Anyone give me any info on how to trouble shoot this.

Disable Steam Input for that game and try it again.

Each game has a Controller setting under Properties in Steam Library

Now I just gotta get my Stealth Ultra working the usb dongle. Because it is quite slow on the bluetooth connection. You can actually feel the lag.

By any chance do you have a fix for the usb dongle 2.4 ghz not working in Linux?
It's a Stealth Ultra controller and I'm running the newest version of Garuda Linux.
