it has valves OS backing it, the best battery life by far, and is the cheapest
while still retaining good performance. Since valve verifies if games work well or not on it, you don't have to sit there and test game by game and also don't have to deal with windows in tablet mode (biggest selling point for the deck honestly)
the rest of the handheld PCs have to deal with windows making them a chore in most aspects. also alot of them have a 1080p screen that while great for movies and certain less demanding games, in more demanding titles you have to turn the resolution down making that screen pretty redundant and less sharp then the steamdeck. Yeah sure they are more powerful but they also cost more.
it'd be like if the nintendo switch didn't have it's OS to make playing the games a breeze
enjoy what you enjoy but the deck just trumps the rest when it comes to what it's designed for.
