I use Steelseries Sensei Diablo III version for over a year now, quite happy with it.
It's worth checking out Steelseries new Rival mouse, it has really nice reviews.

I've had the Razer Naga Molten Core edition for about 3 years now and it is still in perfect working order, plus the red LEDs look nice with my Tower and Keyboard LEDs.

Most importantly though, it is a very comfortable mouse to use.

Optical, definitely.
By the way the Logitech G series (at least from the G400) all use the same sensor and just add features. So if all you want is a perfect sensor without needing wireless or weight calibration, just get the G400.
