I went into computer magment
it said that the VGA Grpahicas Adapter drivers Failed to install
I have an R9 270 wiht a 500 watt 80+ bronze Evga PSU

I want to know if i should worrey about the VGA Grapicas adapter when i go into COmputer mangment
Yea this is a brand new AMD GPU
There are no settings configured to use them at this time
after installing latest drivers is my Card defactive
I just Try to install the latest version and still nothing i dont think windows even detects it
Go into the local files for Quake 3 via Steam.
Run "testapp". From there, the screen will look normal. Then, in the Main Menu, System/Graphics/GL Extension --> Off. Close it all out and run the usual Quake 3 application. Should work just fine.
download the appropriate driver pack.
if you have not ship it back yet and you still have your previous nvidia card, do the following:
1. turn off computer, unplug from wall socket.
2. unplug power connectors to amd r9 270 and remove it from pci-e socket.
3. re-insert previous nvidia video card and connect power connectors to it.
4. turn computer on, uninstall nvidia driver pack, turn off computer.
5. unplug power connectors to nvidia video card and remove it from pci-e socket.
6. re-insert amd r9 270 video card and connect power connectors to it.
7. turn on computer, try to install amd driver pack, and see what happens.
possibilities of driver installation failures:
1. incorrect driver pack version.
2. other driver pack messing with installation.
navigate to "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features"
>>try to uninstall previous amd driver pack and reboot computer. then install latest 64-bit amd driver pack.
I tested the Card on Windows XP and windows detectes it and everything but when i put it on VIStA Vista wont detect it
