Muffled Microphone after WINDOWS update

I believe my windows automatically updated itself when I was sleeping last night. Everything restarted this morning and everything was back to normal except for my microphone. I discovered that my microphone sound was muffled and very hard to understand on discord, I tried to find some answers to why it was doing that on the internet I even tried using recording websites on chrome and there was a similar muffled result. This has never happened to me except this time with the updating of Windows 10. I am currently using Razer Kraken and I've been using it for a few months now. Please help me out!

Have you noticed any changes in the Windows sound settings?

I normally don't check the sound settings but I did just turn of all the enhancements (I don't know if it was on before).

reinstall sound card driver.

for realtek: uninstall realtek driver, reboot, install realtek driver, reboot.

how do I install realtek driver? I tried disabling it and enabling it in device manager

realtek driver when launched will prompt user to uninstall/reinstall realtek driver.

I'm not sure how to do it, I downloaded the 34 bit one for windows 10 (2017) but the GUI said no driver supported.
