Can I replace my 11.4V Battery with a 11.1V battery?
My battery is swelling up on my Dell Inspiron 7567 and I'm not in a rush to get a new battery yet but the only listing replacement on Amazon is only 11.1V. Would anything go wrong if I use a lower voltage battery?

btw I removed the cable connecting my battery to my laptop.

if its a 2 cell lipo/i.iion, yes

lipo
3v x 3 = 9v (dead)
3.7v x 3 = 11.1v (nominal)
4.2v x 3 = 12.6v (full)

liion
2.8v x3 = 8.4v (dead)
3.8v x3 = 11.4v (nominal)
4.4v x3 = 13.2 (full)

the laptops lipo charge circuit will not fully charge or drain liion, but it will work as intended

putitng a lipo battery in liion charger can damage it eventually
hopefully the battery has protection circuit to stop it from over/under charging it
