Logitech G HUB not storing some of my bindings of my mouse
Logitech g502 hero

the G HUB is not storing the bindings of my side buttons and must remain open in order for those buttons to keep their bindings. This issue occurs specifically when I use the onboard memory.

apparently assigning shift to any of the buttons will not be stored in the onboard memory

what keyboard model?
not all have onboard memory for macros

if may be ghub not running as administrator if that is not saving settings when you exit
or if you are using default shutdown (hibernate/wake) instead of a full shutdown

try disabling windows fast boot

it's not a keyboard. I should have mention that it's a mouse

oops

g502 should save macros to the mouse
if you save them and completely exit ghub does it remember them?

nope. I think it's specific to the shift and control button. it doesn't seem to want to save those.

check if the mouse has a firmware update

firmware is up to date
Make sure you are changing and saving settings to the device ROM not the local PC profile

same mouse, same problem

as far as i've researched, it seems to be a common problem with G HUB
sadly they disabled the downloads for their old on-memory manager, which is recommended as the fix

i have found a solution that's kinda weird:
- create the profile with all keys set as you want -> it doesn't save on-board, that's fine
- unlock on-board again
- create a copy of the profile
- lock and test, if the copy works. for me it did

GHub recently got an update - mine has no issues with bindings while not using on-board memory profiles.
Did you try these other Logitech Software for your mouse? 👀😎
It may be better than G-HUB ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ no need running as administrator ...

Logitech Gaming Software_9.04.49_x64

Gaming Software suite is outdated; meant for Win7/8
SetPoint has nothing to do with Mouse ROM or Macros.
Gaming Software suite is outdated; meant for Win7/8

I use it on my Windows 10 with my mice Logitech G Мышь G502 X, white

IT can NOT be for Windows 7/8 only, 'cauze last version Gaming Software dated May 2022 (°ロ°)☝

lgs works on win 10/11

https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025298053-Logitech-Gaming-Software
select win 10 or 11
https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/gaming/LGS_9.04.49_x64_Logitech.exe

but by default when you install ghub it uninstalls lgs

but some older logi g k/m mice do not work with ghub and only work with lgs

you can install both, just manually
install lgs, copy its files to another location, install ghub, and move lgs back
then put both in startup again
