If you want different color saturation and brightness, do it on the PC. Try Reshade, SpecialK or any other post-processing injector to get the picture quality you like.
Depending on the post-processing effects in place, they only add a few ms to the processing of the image when done on the PC and is therefore cheaper than the TV.
Regarding motion smoothing:
Increase the framerate and use VRR if the TV offers such a feature.
If the game's FPS is locked, you could try Lossless Scaling's Frame Generation or AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) if you own an AMD GPU.
Lossless Scaling is available on the Steam Store:

AFMF can be activated in the AMD Radeon Software.
As any motion interpolation technique (like on the TV), it adds artifacts and latency.
The input delay form the controllers is rather negligible. MS offers an official bluetooth adapter for the xbox one controller. It could decrease the input delay when compared to a regular BT stick. The difference might be some ms.
then there is the issue with the controller. xbox controllers are the absolute worst I have ever tested. even third party brands like gamesir, gulikit and 8bitdo, create better xbox controllers than microsoft.
but so far from my experience playstation controllers are better ( but got their own set of issues ) and you can oc them to 1000hz which should in theory reduce input lag.
but let me tell you that I haven't noticed any difference between 250hz - 8000hz polling rate. some people will swear they notice a difference but upon testing my own keyboard ( k70 max which has 8000hz ) and my own mouse ( Razer Viper V2 Pro which also has 8000hz polling )
but the biggest issue is that you are using your controller wirelessly.
Wireless controllers work fine and don't have input lagg if they have a dedicated wireless dongle that is not BT
for wireless anything below a 1000hz is absolutely abysmal. 4000hz is recommended and 8000hz is best but will drain the battery faster.
however he is playing wireless and using an xbox controller. 125hz wireless is abysmal. I can absolutely tell the difference between my xbox series controller ( mostly using it for fighting games ) and my ps5 dualsense when playing wireless
