What would cause the monitor screen going out but can still hear my pc game?

Monitor basically loses signal it seems. Could it be my CPU or more so my video card ? Or something else all together?

Edit: I just redid the thermal compound on my CPU to make sure.

Thanks everyone for all the help got a new AIO as well because just not happy with my current one either way if it is that or not it is still a win win.

The other AIO (my first one) I am returning unless I can't.


I know you all said monitor cable or video card but I am going with my gut.

Still either way if it ends up being monitor cable or video card it still will help. Like I said not happy with current cpu temps anyway.
