Something like a G502 Hero as a mouse, for example.
As for keyboards, I got nothing there.
For keyboards, it's a more difficult story because there's considerably more variety due to switch types, form factors, etc. My personal recommendation if you want something actually premium and not the typical companies like Corsair, Razer, etc. building (subjectively speaking) crap boards for gamers with flashy lights and nothing else, is to go with something from Keychron.
Logitech G602 wireless mouse and the Razer Naga Pro wireless mouse.
These two mice have lasted me over 4 years now.
As for keyboards, I hate high-rise keys and mechanical clicker boards, I go with a cheap $10 Logitech wired low-rider keyboard. :p
This keyboard has lasted over 6 years...
Keyboards I am different. Most like the caps, and clicks, and whatnot. I prefer chiclet style, low profle, barely a keypress and somewhat quiet. I found a random brand I like and bought 3 of them because they were so cheap. Its called RedDragon Karura2 Model M502RGB
Keyboards... too much choice.

Keyboard: G915 TKL Low profile mechanical keys with a large battery. Full charge for me with how I have lighting set is 148 hours. Bit pricey so get on sale.
Logitech GHUB sucks so I set profiles onto the devices and have GHUB set to not load up on Startup.
Couldnt have asked for anything better.
These are all high level competitive perhiperals which are geared towards low latency maximum performance. They wont have as many buttons and some wont have rgb but these will be the most responsive and lightest stuff you can buy for gaming
For keyboards look at the Apex Pro either full size/TKL/mini, Wooting 60he/80he/two-he, razer huntsman v3 pro.
I wouldnt go for a keyboard without rapid trigger in 2024 the advantages are just too great and theyre more or less the same price as other keyboards
For mice look at the Razer Viper v2 pro, Razer Deathadder v3 pro, Razer viper signature edition, g pro superlight 2, finalmouse ultralightx, all lightweight, all very good sensor and very responsive with a good build quality.
These are pretty much top in class and these are as good as it gets for fps gaming.
Personally Id ignore what people say about how mainstream brands like razer, logitech and steelseries and how they keyboards arent 'enthusiast' and 'high quality'. Most of their new lineup are made of metal, with pbt keycaps and are mostly hotswappable switches. A lot of them are now certainly much higher quality and borderline enthusiast level with the benefit of having some of the best sensors and technology which is what a lot of smaller brands lack. They can also be customised into 3rd party cases.
Like when looking at mice the best sensors will be a razer or steelseries mouse. Sure you can get other mice which are lighter, cooler rgb, also nice shape, premium materials for the body and feet, but they will usually always have worse sensor then what razer and logitech can offer including far worse latency.
I use to have a ducky one2 mini and I found out the latency was 17ms which is shocking. Most gaming keyboards are sub 2ms latency.
I have had mice from razer, logitech, glorious, pulsar. Nothing beats lamzu at this current moment. The quality, weight, shape, feel.
Razer and logitech is just overpriced af. Chinese made stuff is way cheaper and usually the same or better quality. Wooting is the best keyboard though.
