DDR3 vs DDR4
Hello guys
I have this pc:

i7-4790K 4.0GHz(4.4 if overclock) Quad Core
GTX 980Ti 6GB
16GB RAM DDR3

Many people told me that the 16GB of RAM DDR3 will bottleneck my pc and that without DDR4 it will run like **** , is it thaaaaaaat bad?

You can't run ddr4 without skylake. Your build is fine
You'll be fine, just make sure it gets plenty of air flow during heavy gaming.

Or Haswell-E for that matter.

Anyway, whoever told OP whatever that thing about the DDR3 RAM was talking trash, nothing more.

The idiots and trolls near u are strong; cut them fromt your life.

Your system is all good here; nothing running at 1080 or 1440 should be slow or lagging for these specs.

Still have the OS on HDD though; this will lagg everything, makes the entire system slow.
Use 64bit OS and have OS installed to SSD.

256GB SSD ,OS on SSD windows 10 64 bits, and yeah i already removed them and blocked
ram will rarely ever bottleneck your computer (unless you don't have enough) and plus ddr4 barely has anything over ddr3 currently
DDR4 is just the next time and required for LGA 2011, 1151 or AMD AM4

They use much lower voltage. But to really be faster than DDR3 is @ around 1600 - 2400
DDR4 would have to be around 3000+ Mhz to achieve that. So you not doing yourself much of a favor by using cheap 2100-2600 when moving to a newer spec'd system that uses DDR4. And even with DDR4 running @ around 2800-3200 Mhz, you won't really notice in gaming. And usually also won't notice unless you are Overclocking CPU and such.

Overall, you are fine with what all u have right now. It just happens to require DDR3, big deal.
