AMD OverDrive is for OverClocking... CPU, RAM, GPU, etc...
I would not use that. For any OC, do that in BIOS.
For GPU monitoring/control of OC > try MSI Afterburner

Yea haha, I always confuse between the game override and the OverDrive settings :)

Overdrive = software that auto overclocks you cpu and grafic card ,means runs on faster speed then it is made for what reduces its life time unless you use some extrem cooling system its not recommanded(those cooling system tend if air type sound like a airplane lifts in your rooms or then buzz sound of a water pump if have a water type coolign system where the pump tends to break and cost alot), fast for like one month use but after that your hardware is broken and can be taklen to junkyard if it is properly cooled!
If not cooled its even alot shorter lifetime like few sec if overclocked to the extrem sicne all component will melt!
Can be disabled in your driver settings interface like catalyst or what ever your settings system is called.
if you want to buy a new pc every new month then yeah overclock works . if you want to keep it for 3-5+ years do NOT overclock!

Dude you must be GOD HIMSELF, because you just blessed me with your comment! Ty!
overclocking will not lower your computer components life span if you have a stable overclock that will not cause heat problems

and you don't need water cooling air cooling will be fine even with a 212 evo i added .8ghz to my cpu with my temps rarely (if ever) get above 60 if not in a stress test
