Headset problem (No sound coming)
Hey steam community. Dunno if this is the right place for this. But I have problem

I got new headset because my previous one (which was the same model) broke. It's Logitech H340 Headset. It worked fine when I tried it first time. Now it doesn't work.

I can see that it's working normally otherwise, but there's no sound coming. It's like muted.

I've been:
Searching over by the internet forums
Reinstalling my sound drivers
setting headset as default device

None of these things worked.

There's also an odd thing that I've noticed. Headset is called USB Audio. (Previous headset had it's name normally, Logitech USB Headset)

Maybe my previous headset had messed up my current one.

Thanks for looking into this matter and I would be really grateful for solution.

Sorry, I have Windows 8.1 and I installed Realtek Audio drivers.

Ok. Uninstall all headset drivers and install ones from logitech if able otherwise reinstall realtek after that. If it's usb then im not sure if realtek even affects that.

Logitech doesn't offer drivers for this headset as it's Plug and play-headset And yes, it's USB headset

Did you try completely uninstalling?

Yes

Tried to uninstall through device manager again and I noticed something. When headset is plugged in (After uninstalling) it doesn't install them. Instead, when looked into device manager, they appear installed. So there's no notification. It's like headset is already installed even that I removed it.
