Mine do that when the battery is running low.
Can't stand gaming on it with 3D on, limits the frame rate to 30fps.
Given that this is a discontinued product how do you know the batteries are fresh?
You cant OP. simply put your TV is an intropolated 200hz 3D HDTV meaning simply put your glasses wont work unless your TV has a native (not intropolated) 120hz at the minimum refresh-rate with a 1ms response time.
the specs on your TV allow 3D only via accepted sources such as 3D playback blue-rays etc and consoles it was never designed to playback Nivida 3D or ATI's version of it.
the reason you're stuck at 30 fps is because your TV is again a 60hz tv with a 200hz intropolation feature meaning when active 3D comes on you get 30 in each eye instead of 60 in each eye like a 120hz monitor provides to its 3D glasses.
next time when buying 3D related stuff ensure it has a native 120 or 144 hz refresh-rate with no intropolation feature at all, then you can use Nivida 3D and AMD version.
the 3D for HDTV's doesnt hurt eyes at 30 fps because tv programs throw a ton of blur and other effects to make your eyes not notice the frame-rate.
more or less your TV will not playback proper 3D at 60 fps per eye because it lacks the proper refresh rate of 120hz for that to happen.
" So it only means that i can watch 3d via blue ray, or console? And i cant do it through the proper display connected with my pc?'
that is correct, without a DVI-D cable in the first place there is no way to get a refresh rate of above 60hz which is the standard for 99% of TV's and monitors out there and your monitor falls under said catagory thus getting a DVI-D cable wont solve the issue.
what you need is a proper 3D gaming capable monitor from Asus or BenQ
again are you using a 120hz signal via DVI-D cable? if not then you're only going to get 30 fps on each eye as it takes your max refresh-rate and puts half to each eye. HDMI wont provide 120hz for the TV to split into two 60hz signals before sending them to your glasses.
also the glasses flicker on and off because they cannot maintain their signal normally due to dead battery Nivida 3D glasses do the same thing,
You check it in your nivida control panel or CCC for AMD. i already know you're using HDMI most likely thus are stuck at 60hz regardless of what you do as a HDMI cable is only capable of 60hz (60 fps) playback.
you would need a DVI-D cable, as well your TV has to be capable of a native 120hz signal which evidenced by your use of a HDMI cable you're stuck at 60hz and it wont change without a proper DVI-D cable presuming your TV can do 120hz in the first place not intropolate it
basically you're after 60 fps on each eye well you need a 120hz monitor, a DVI-D cable and of course things recorded at 120 fps so they can be played back at 60 fps per eye

this is the nivida control panel section for refresh-rates
because 30 fps will cause you to get headaches and possible motion sickness due to all the blurryness. 3D requires 120 fps to be split into two signals of 60 fps per eye to reduce motion sickness and headaches/eye strain
check the link i posted to see if your nivida control panel is set correctly. if your control panel of nivida is set as the picture is to at least 120hz via a DVI-D cable then you should be able to presuming all else is correct have 60 fps per eye
Yes it can, I tested it out on a few supported games using an AMD 7970, 5770 and 4870x2, NVidia cards will not play games on it due to their proprietary 3D Vision Ready branding not having been paid for but both cards will be able to play 3D Blu Rays, but I have a PS3 and 3DBR player for that so never bothered buying Blu Ray playback software and testing it.
For AMD (at least when I used it) I had to use a third party app called Tri-Def 3D to get 3D running at all.

Good luck...
