GPU (Geforce 9600 gt) not working
My specs:
Gigabyte AM1M-S2H motherboard
(+amd quad processor) the cpu is very powerful, new and good.
And a powersupply 320 watt

All these works fine but it's the gpu that is being a donkey.
I also use windows 8.1

First of the gpu refuses to use a higher resolution than 800x600 and is using a basic windows card or something even though the cable is plugged in to the gpu.
Any driver I download doesn't seem to make a difference, it feels like they don't download since when using nvidia geforce experience it seem to always want to update the same driver.
I know this card works normally since it have worked before with the same specs, but I tried using 2 monitors and it kind of broke and I had to reset everything.
The card says error code 43 but I don't think it is a hardware problem but that it is not communicating with my other things in the pc.

I know my card is old but for the moment I can't afford a new one and really want this card to work, so just try to not comment to much about my specs since I already know everything about my specs and what that needs improvements.

Try doing a complete driver removal, and try again! http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

You need to install the drivers for the card. check nvidia.com for latest whql drivers

9600 GT then u need to not exceed using the driver version listed here below:
http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/94790
Any newer driver and those old GPUs are no longer supported.

IDK why you'd be using an OS newer than Win7 64bit on such an old spec'd setup though; makes zero sense.

Isn't thatthe newest release of drivers?
Seems like I've have already have downloaded these drivers, so I'm going to try a clean drive wipe and install it again
I did it, but when trying to download the new nvidia drivers my screen shut down. My monitor is just showing a black screen and indicates that it doesn't have any communication with the computer. What does this mean? Is my gpu trully broke?

If the device continues to show Error Code 43 after the driver installation and reboot; then yes the most likely reason would be faulty GPU

And what "new" drivers?
You must use this or earlier:

DO NOT install Geforce Experience; if you do, then do not update drivers from it; simply go into the options and disable the auto check for updates. As it will want to download a newer driver version; which however is not compatible with your old GPU.

What I meant with new drivers I mean those you linked :P
It seems like though when I tried to download the drivers it doesn't work, the monitor.

Try loading up into safe mode, go to device manager and find the "9600 GPU" and Uninstall it.
Then reboot back into Normal Mode and re-run either the driver version I posted; or an earlier version; long as it supports your OS

It's normal that the display can go out for a bit during the GPU driver installation; but once the driver is successful, the display should come back again.
