The other ones are TN panels, therefore inferior in color.
I guess this one's the new model of it;

Asus WINS but I really want to know more
IPS 1ms
144hz
Freesync is faster than Gsync.
I see many kids here have no idea about Monitors...
Eizo ... first time hearing about this brand
Thats what I also im reading currently that asus is far better than any
What about LG ?
It's actually 4ms response time, not 1ms...
21 extra hz and 3ms worse response time ? And for what ? IPS ? Again, i have 2 monitors one TN and one IPS right next to each other and i can't tell a difference... So idk... IPS is not worth it for gaming.
And even 144fps is really hard to maintain in most games anyway so there is no point going higher... At least not until all games start supporting sli. Because thats what you need to run games at 144fps (@1440p).
I have 2x gtx980's and trust me, a single 980 can barely maintain 60fps in more demanding games like gta 5 or the witcher 3 or other games of similar caliber (on high settings). In fact, i got my second 980 hoping i could reach 144fps in gta 5, and it does support sli, but still it could not maintain 144fps. It was close, but still not quite there.
With a 980 ti, and a bit of settings tuning, yeah, 144fps is probably possible. But 165fps is a bit unlikely. Unless you go medium settings.
I will get the Asus ROG PG279Q because seriuosly many good reviews about this and to be honest i hate the Ultrawide monitors they are not for me
I have 2, they are beautiful
