Yeah, if you're not a heavy gamer, then i'd give it a try for sure. It'd definitely last you awhile. Mine made it many hundreds of hours, and a bit of abuse before it had enough.
Also. It's not that we have freakishly small hands, we're just small people. Short people tend to be proportionatly small everywhere. I also have itty bitty feet. Wear a size 5 in womens, but tend to shop in the kids section as they're more comfortable for some reason.
i love extra buttons though... :( I Was looking into one of the roccats at some point, i guess i'll have to revisit that. Maybe i can find one equal in size + extra buttons?
I'm definitely not inclined towards that sort of thing. I thought about trying to figure something out for the ratz, which is why i held onto it for so long, but my creativity failed me. A friend had suggested gutting one and having someone use a 3d printer to make a shell for it, but the convenience of straight up buying a mouse is at the top.
I don't play mmo's, but i'm not seeing a million side buttons as a negative. Dimensions and shape look good as well. The tilting scroll wheel seems neat! So far this ones at the top of my "try" list. Thanks a bunch!
In the meantime, with apologies if any of these have already been put forward:

https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice (specifically the Sensei)
The Kiro is very similar in size, but offers a lot more features.
Roccat actually calls it "the Lua's big sister".
4 fully customizeable extra buttons, two on each side. And it can do up to 4000 DPI in "overdrive mode" (whatever that means^^).

I have small hands, and use it in palm grip style.

Are the measurements on the amazon page accurate? That is definitely a small-sounding mouse. Will have to try that one too, if so, thanks.
If anyone else comes up with any other ideas, do let me know!
Steelseries Sensei and Razer Naga.
Right now I am using a Naga and I'm in love with it, comfy, lots of buttons and my hand doesnt get achy after hours using it.
So what mouse did you end up with?
Logitech, such as G502
or something from SteelSeries or Corsair.
Top notch all-around, good support and warranty coverage too.
Go to a local store where they display various models of Mice/Keyboard out of the box and on-display for customers to see/feel... that is best bet when you are totally un-sure of what to buy regarding such things.
Places like BestBuy, Frys, MicroCenter ...
are good for displaying such things. Maybe not every single model, but enough for you to make a decision towards base model and ones close to that overall design.
