HDMI doesn't support 144Hz, so getting a 144Hz monitor would not be as useful as you wouldn't be able to get 144FPS with HDMI.

Wont that make something later? Like the response time or something? Idk one of my friend said that getting a coverter like dp to dvi, hdmi-dvi, etc, would make something slower/later.

If it is a compatible conversion, it may not have any signal loss or degradation. Wonder if something like this would work?

dp uses 3.3v dvi use 5v, it can be done with a cheap adapter
just make sure its active not passive

could use usb power, but its not necessary, dp offers enough current to up the voltage
