HELP with GTX 750 Ti FTW
This is my prebuilt PC: https://www.asus.com/us/Tower-PCs/M11BB/specifications/

This is the PSU it has: http://us.estore.asus.com/products/04g185011206dp

The graphics card I want to install is the GTX 750 Ti FTW: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

My questions are:
What will I need to properly install it, this? http://www.amazon.com/4-Pin-Molex-Female-Adapter-Length...

How would I install the graphics card?

Purchase, Put in tower and turn on?

Do I need to update the Bios? This is my PC’s current Bios http://i.imgur.com/MWIith1.png?1

What if I have windows 10, do I still select the windows 8 version? http://www.asus.com/US/Tower-PCs/M11BB/HelpDesk_Downloa...

Do I need to install drivers? Which?

I don’t know the installation process of a graphics card, this is my first time buying parts for a PC

There is no benefit to buying a higher-end "750 Ti" just grab the cheapest one on the market for your region. If u want a good one like "EVGA FTW" then buy a better all-around GPU, like GTX 970 series; but then again, something above approx GTX 750 series or AMD R9 260 series would need a better PSU.

I would suggest either of these. They come with the PCIE 6-pin to 2x 4pin Molex power cable adapter.

There is no need to buy that single fan model where the difference is only 10 usd or a bit higher and you get dual fan and really high factory overclock comparing to that SC and GTX750. 750Ti FTW also comes with 2 molex to 6 pin and if he doesn't want to overclock high factory clocks would be great for him. And i don't understand why you guys always recommend at least GTX970 not everyone plays everything at max 1080p and everyone has different budget+ putting an GTX970 on that prebuilt pc would be really "bad" move. I see people bash GTX750Ti about its performance but it does give a lot for the money you paid for it. Not to mention they overclock great.

Yes 950 or 960 would be MUCH better overall

LOL I bash 750 Ti cause it is over-priced junk. You can buy a 670 4GB for cheaper and that would be a huge step above and beyond a 750 Ti

Okay good luck with your AMD A8 and 670 combo

For the sake of the OP, GTX 950 is around similar price to GTX 750 Ti
Yes it does use more power, but not much (under 100W TDP)
300-350 Watts PSU should be fine.
When I first wanted to improve the performance of my factory build PC I was at a loss. Heck, as a complete newbie opening the case of the PC to clean the accumulated dirt scared me. After "researching" through a sea of posts and websites I compiled a list of over 60 urls. Yup, when it came to PC I was at a loss, but I slowly picked up a few things here and there. I figured that the next best thing was to get advice from other gamers, and what better platform than Steam. I made my first post ever, and sure enough I immediately received advice, sundownkid and other users helped me clear several of my thoughts but I later discovered more factors and became unsure. As a poor peasant, I want to make sure that I will make an informed purchase considering my options, so I asked again. To all that have taken the time to give me their help and feedback I am grateful. You all are BOSS. I don't know how Snow Mobile guessed XD but yup I am not a triple A gamer. Sadly I can not join the elite ranks of the Master Race as it is not my preference. I have found out that the games that I play need a GPU around the middle ground of Gaming, since more than half of the games I play are local-coop games with my bro. my logic is basic, if i am happy with my current pc then sure enough I will be satisfied by touching the tip of good graphics. Thanks to all of you, I have learned that I can improve my factory build PC, that a 500 watt PSU is more than enough and that the GTX 750 Ti FTW is the choice I like best. It's already over clocked (something which I would be too scared to do), it also has an extra fan which is nice especially since I reside In California, and the weather can get really overbearing on me, even more so on the PC. Sorry that I went on a rant about my "Journey", it is exciting, learning about specs, and soon getting new parts and I have been completely stoked that many are willing to help. I just wanted to thank you guys, if it wasn't for you guys I would still be clueless. So yeah thanks guys for all your help :D
