Have you tried ?
I meant original Xbox. I have cordless Logitech controller.
So I wouldn't bother spending money on an adapter for a sub par controller. Not when you can get a 360 wireless controller refurbished for cheap on Amazon. And you can get the dongle cheap on Ebay, as long as its authentic Microsoft brand.
I found a solution for this but I didn't try yet :

Follow this info (look under the MORE INFO area under the video; for details on the Xbox Device Driver used in conjunction with such a USB adapter.

They really are no different than "Xbox360" devices; just that you need USB adapter. Since back then Microsoft basically used their own connector type, which is modified off of USB; just different connector is all. The wiring and power with regards to USB is the same. And the original Xbox controllers have the same overall support as 360 ones. The only real difference is the original Xbox controller layout, which did not have LB & RB above the LT & RT; instead had Black and White buttons above or below the ABYX buttons.
After testing various old/original Xbox Controllers now at my work with the Xbox-to-USB adapter, and the XCD Driver; the original xbox controllers should have the same overall compatibility in games that you would find with regards to 360/One controller support. And we tested the adapter + driver + controllers under Win7 SP1, 8.1 and 10 (64bit); works fine.
I have a wired and a wireless controller. How can I use wireless one ?
