Some games crashing randomly
Title. Some of the games I play, crash after ~5 minutes.I haven't tested out a lot,but Forza Horizon 4 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare(the new one) are some examples. But some games don't crash(CSGO and League of Legends). Any tips on what to do?I get no error,no freeze, the game just instantly shuts down.My specs:
Intel Core i7-8750H 2.20 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
16 GB RAM
Windows 10
Also,I haven't installed anything suspicious recently,so I have no clue why this might be.

Re-install your graphics driver. I had a similar problem the other day. Completely DDU'ing the driver and re-installing it from Nvidias website fixed the issue. I used BlueScreen View and found out the crash was related to the graphics driver, initially I thought it was a power issue but it appeared that wasn't the case.

Also, since it's a laptop (aka oem prebuild) it is best to just wipe the entire drive clean of everything so you wipe out how the oem partitioned it, shipped with old OS build which got updated over time, and outdated and perhaps not even official drivers. Many OEM will just rely mainly on the drivers that Win10 already provides and just pack on a ton of so called feature packed software suites.

Best to go make your own Win10 installer media using MS media creation tool from MS official Win10 website, and your own USB flash drive. Once made, boot from it and wipe out the drive entirely, then clean install Win10 64bit so you have a clean and already up to date OS. Then go grab all the official drivers and install them one at a time until finished. Motherboard Chipset, both GPUs, audio, lan, wifi, bt, touchpad; etc.
monitor temperatures of cpu/gpu using hwinfo, speedfan, or cpu hardware monitor

The person in that post said, by running in compatibility mode, they had no crashes. so try Windows 7 mode.

or do a SFC /Scannow you might have corrupted files.

Any tips on how to do that on a Windows 10 'app'?Forza Horizon 4 has no shortcut, only this bar on my start menu and I can't find it's location

Right click the game in your library
Properties
Local files tab
Browse local files
Right click on the *.exe
Properties
compatibility tab
Select 'windows 7' from the combo box
Apply

Forza Horizon 4 is on the Microsoft Store (or whatever it's called). So I can't really access the file location or properties,it is hidden somewhere.I can only start it form the xbox app or my start menu.Really annoying
