I'd probably go for a larger cooler, especially if you want to overclock, could save a bunch and get a thermalright peerless assassin.
You'll have temperatures problems, I've got the k version, and it gets hot it takes a 360mm AIO to keep it cool
i doubt you'll have temp problems.just make sure you turn the voltage down in bios
most or even all m.b mfg over volt for stability purposes.just 1 simple step of setting
to 1.36-1.37 will drop your temps about 7- 10c.you see high temps from all these youtubers
giving out of box temps thats just not realistic with the high end cpu's but ideally water
cooled is the way to go.but for gaming i see no problem with air cooled and a well
ventilated case.

True, if he had selected a dual tower cooler, not the cheaper, single tower option which I'd say is borderline.

For testing, I ran my 13900k with noctua shiny flat htpc cooler for a week, it worked, but it throttled (normally used on a 13400 totally fine).
What's your room temp? Cooling is a delta. The output temp depends on the temp of the incoming air. Best results if the case air is room temp. (Taking the case side off can help if you have case air problems). Also the heat produced depends on how hard the cpu is running. Peerless assassin is rated best air cooler by most. You also need to check case clearance with air coolers. And maybe case fan size and number of fans.

U12A is better suited for i5 or Ryzen 5 or lower.

14th Gen i7/i9 can output upwards of 200+ watts
