Hilarious.
It seems it all went over your head.
What serious use does windows 98 have?
Enlighten us with your IT security wisdom.
I think in some industries, XP is still being used, which is a catastrophe waiting to happen.
I use my fancy pants 64 bit operating systems - windows 10/11, linux, Android.........with updates!
some ask what use is there for Windows 98. Well none unless it's 98SE. Then you can run Wing Commander Secret Ops on it...and Winamp.
Though for Windows 98 games, would there even be any D.R.M. that prevents you from installing the game on a modern system and sideloading it onto your old one?
First, Steam only officially supports Windows 10 now and second, upgrading probably isn't even the point 'cause who uses Windows 98 as their daily driver O.S. anymore? I think most people who have such old systems are using them for periodically correct play.
