Conflicted between choosing to buy a Nintendo Switch or a Tesla Model X

I really like the Nintendo Switch, great for playing some indie games on the go, or some of Nintendo's great games out there. But at the same time, a Tesla Model X would be nice, specially for commuting to work or anywhere else considering one lives in the suburban america, where a car is pretty much essential.

Just asking here so I can get some good outside opinions, what do you think would be a better buy here?

Tesla Model X is said to be the failed version of all the Tesla cars, which already are low quality and poor maintenance vehicles. Plus the low ploygon Cybertruck brick will take the battery cells from those previous Tesla Models, including the Y and X. A battery replacement already costs more than half the price of the car itself, later it will be even harder to get repaired/replaced.

Elon Musk had to recall 55,000+ of the Tesla Model X vehicles due to being faulty.

On average a Tesla as 2/3 issues with it upon purchase... that's not a possible risk, that's 2 to 3 issues per car on average. The quality control is shocking, it's barely even there. Things from loose panels, battery issues, console bugs, autopilot failure, unwanted auto-braking, power steering failure, unable to be towed issues, an occasional loss of power, or doors not opening/closing correctly, etc.

Teslas are also hackable via a cellphone's bluetooth signal to unlock their doors, start the car up or lock the steer wheel while someone is driving it. That issue can't be fixed by firmware/software updates, unless the hardware is physically replaced as well. To do that they would have to recall all the old Tesla models that they mass produced.

So out of the two picks, I would recommend the Nintendo Switch is a much better option.

Else get a Nissian Hyper Force and play racing car games inside it while parked with a virtual reality headset. You sit and drive inside the car itself with virtual reality to race around virtual tracks, even against other car owners in multiplayer.

Yeah...I don't know.

You could buy the switch, and then put tiny motors on it, and make it double as a skateboard. Just make sure not to crack the screen.

You could get the Tesla, and by completely voiding your warranty, you could modify the integrated tablet with some pcb's and raspberri pi's, to play Switch games. But then you would have to have the automated driving flawless, when it isn't. Also, you really shouldn't try to waste purchasing a Tesla as some sort of environmentally friendly option. Strip mining is terrible for the environment, they gotta do it for those batteries.

If you've flown on a plane for more than a few hours, that's more fuel burned than a car burns during its entire lifetime.

Buy the Nintendo Switch, and get rid of the stupid environmentalism guilt bs that's not on you.
