EasySMX Controller not recognized in Linux
So, this is a strange ask for you all, but I don't know what to do anymore, my googling has turned up no results and now you all are my only hope to get this working again.

I have an EasySMX ESM 9110 and it worked perfectly fine up until about a week ago when suddenly it started mapping the buttons as a Nintendo Switch controller. (So A was B and X was Y and vice versa). I don't know what happened to make it happen, because I've now tried everything to reverse it to no avail.

But now, the problem somehow managed to get worse. Now, the controller doesn't even register on my computer, (which runs Linux Mint 21.2 by the way). I've tried xone, xboxdrv, both of those yielded no results. I have jstest.gtk on my computer as well.

I need the controller to play most shooter games because I have a disability. I'm honestly at the end of my rope with this. So any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hello! Is it still a problem?
I can only give you hints since I don't have that model, however i read that the controller has a small reset button on the rear, disconnect it from any kind of device, than try press the reset button with a toothpick or similar until you hear a click, now try connecting the controller to the pc with usb and let me now if it works.

Hello. Sorry for not updating this at all. I got it working. Though I have no clue how I did it or anything like that, unfortunately. Thank you for your advice though!
