The outlet or powerbar it's plugged into is faulty
the cable for the monitors power is faulty
the HDMI/DP cable is faulty
the HDMI/DP socket for the monitor is faulty
the HDMI/DP socket for the GPU/Mobo is faulty
those are the ones i can think of atm
what i would try right away is a new cable for the monitor
if that doesn't work, try all the other ports on the monitor and gpu
if that still doesn't work, you could try a new GPU if you have another lying around
and if still nothing, it may be a short in the monitor
does it give the brand logo when turning back on?
or its power led change state to show its asleep/off?
it may be a bad backlight led, causing the backlight to turn off while the monitor is still on trying to display something
using its osd menu, turn the backlight down to 50-75% to see if it happens less often
but also try another display, or that on one another pc/console to make sure to verify its the display or pc problem
it can be windows putting it to sleep, if its set to turn the display off when idle
using a controller does not always keep it awake
