The SSD prices are on their way to shooting upwards to 200-400% the current prices, so be prepared.
I'd look strongly at SSDs from WD, Crucial and TeamGroup.
Such as WD Black, Crucial P3 / P3 Pro
I still have SSDs as well. One by Kingston & one by T-Force along with that Samsung 960 EVO that is home to my current win10 install.
I have only been playing warzone the last few years.
The 1TB is to be used as the OS drive and probably break it down.
If I ever do branch out to other games, then I'll look at bigger drives if needed.
I'll most likely only use the 2 M.2 drives with the SSDs.
But other than that, no thoughts on the board itself?
Haven't decided on a cpu yet.
Then also GPU and then once you figure out CPU + GPU, then pick a PSU that will be more then enough for entire system. Easier to pick a Motherboard once you have decided which CPU to go with.
Would you prefer Intel or AMD Ryzen?
Probably 32GBs of RAM. watching a kit of G.Skill Trident 32GB.
My current PSU may still be strong enough at 750 I think.
Will stick with Intel as I've not had any issues with them.
While newer CPUs are much better over say Intel 11th Gen or older; your GPU is kind low end, only really good for 1080p gaming.
For latest Intel Z790 I'd look at these:

For RAM:

i7 7700k
I run it at 2560x1440 with no issues at all. FPS anywhere from 70 to 100+.
Those $500 Motherboards are like $220 in USA.
because trudeau, that's why. Tax after tax after tax....
There's a glass Thermaltake case I am watching that's $249 up here, but $179 US. Do the conversion and it's about $10 less at $237.
Go for A620 Asrock motherboard as you get two M2 Slots and yes its micro-Atx but put the money towards other stuff
I haven't used an AMD cpu since the Athlon days. Been using Intel since the Q6600 came out. No issues at all.
Why would anyone with actual sense go pay through the nose to get more trouble and risk? Just for experience from 7 generations ago?
