Basically you need 3.125MB/s or I would say 5MB/s (40Mbps) minimum for one device.
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if you put a 100GbE lan card inside to make a few GB/s transfers in a local network.
I have no idea why you're so peeved that my internet runs well.
Yes but we're sitting here on Steam discussing speeds. Hey the most you can afford is all I can say. You can't download games fast enough. Or mods and such which can sometimes be a couple GB per file download. Plus it helps to have good upload too whenever you want to upload your own files and content.
250-350 or so is very decent.
God Of War on Steam is around 65-68 GB and that took me like 18 mins to download over WiFi that uses 5G cell service.
Avg on steam 110 mbps and max 114mbps
Speed test always constantly at940sD/40Up
Biggest games 80+14 16 most games per mins more than 6GB+
But unless you live in the ass end of nowhere, there's always a Steam server close enough that you should be getting higher download speeds than that, I've seen as high as 800 Mbps when I pay for 1000, just downloading games on Steam.
My speed test is 940 downloading and up avg 40 + at Comcast,
Just did GTA V 111 GB IN 9-12 mins 111 GB i do 6-8 GB+
